National News: The initial investigation report of Air India flight AI-171 accident going from Ahmedabad to London has come to light. According to the report, the major apprehensions being expressed so far behind the accident—such as a bird collision (bird hit) or excessive loading in the aircraft—have been rejected outright.
Initial investigation, led by Director of Civil Aviation (DGCA) Director of Security, concluded that there was no evidence of any bird colliding after the flight take-off. Neither bird wings were found at the scene, nor any other relic, which has completely denied this possibility.
The report also reported that the aircraft was not overloaded. Some seats were vacant and load distribution was also completely balanced. Initial investigations have also not considered a possible reason for the pilot's mistake (Human Error). Also, it is considered impossible for both engines to fail together.
After this report, now the question has grown that what was the real reason for such a serious aircraft accident?
This incident is even more shocking because this is the first major crash case worldwide of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, considered a super safe and high-tech aircraft. More than 1,200 Boeing 787 aircraft have been flying safely for the last 12 years.
Along with DGCA, India's Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB), US National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and Boeing Companies are now engaged in detailed technical investigation into the incident.
In the accident on Thursday, 241 out of 242 people aboard the aircraft were killed. A few minutes after the flight take-off, this flight fell on the mess of the BJ Medical College Hostel in Ahmedabad, injuring some people on the land.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Ahmedabad on Friday morning and inspected the place of accident and met Ramesh Vishwakumar, the only living passenger admitted in the civil hospital. He also got to know the condition of others injured on the ground.
